...I'm listening to Radio Merseyside and they're saying that Admiral St police station windows were smashed, a few shop windows put in and a few houses had their doors kicked in. Not nice, but not exactly the fall of civilization either.

The council leader isn't helping...he wants *everyone* out on the streets today to clean up the mess! FFS, how many people does it take to clear up half a dozen smashed windows?

If you'd read the quote in context it was responding to someone generally blaming the uneducated and unemployed.

Yes I know, but those involved who are unemployed and receive benefits don't deserve it - that money could go towards fixing the mess they've caused.
