On the surface it would appear he's had some sort of verbal agreement with him. Another reason to get rid of the manager and appoint someone with a proven track record, we may then keep some of these players.

If you get bored I'd enjoy you vaulting those who said that (genuinely) want to know whose opinion to write off in the future.

Regardless who the manager is blues should want everton to win no matter what

The youth teams should all be playing a similar style to the first team (with various tweaks) so over a period of time if they come through into the first team they each play the same way as they always have done -- same as the setup as La Masia which Cruyff changed.

Now, if the first team is all top notch and winning champions leagues it will be that only the best kids come through. If its sitting in 12th then more kids come through as the quality level is lower.

Buying in players would mean the bar is set higher. My thinking is that over the next 2+ seasons (after the 3 we have had) we will start seeing kids coming through which may even be Galloway/Holgate/Foulds types or local boys.

It sounds like we have Ledson,Walsh,Dowell and more on the verge now as well as Galloway,Browning,Holgate also who should all be with the squad in the summer.

What we desperately need this summer and the next and the next are a couple of players to come through.

Then we slot them in on the bench or give them games here and there till they are ready then sell the backup players to allow them to compete with our first choice guys.

Samr as Utd and Barca have done very publically.

Think we all need to chill a bit. I don't agree with wanting us to lose any match but people are clearly getting very frustrated with the current situation, hence some of these posts.

I can't see anyway back so I think it's just a matter of timing.

You want us to lose? Never in my life would I want Everton to lose, no matter what the circumstances are ... EVER.

If you get pleasure from Everton losing or actually will the team to lose what sort of fan are you?!

I want nothing more than a win today, the same again on Wednesday, the same again on Saturday, the same every game we play. Couldn't ever even imagine winning and thinking "ffs Everton I wanted us to lose".

I know people are entitled to their own opinions but if you want your own team to lose you need to have serious words with yourself.
