its the hope that gets you in the end..........;)

...wonder what the preliminary interview might be like?

......it's almost looking inevitable that we will see change in the managerial hot seat but if it does happen the timing could be important. The assumption is that nothing will happen ahead of the semi final but early change could give everybody a boost and ultimately viewed as a master stroke.
Weird how we're all sensing this feeling of inevitability, yet the prospect seems almost entirely confined to the club and its support.

There's so little chat in general football circles, our poor performance this season notwithstanding. You'd think more people would be talking about it. But I guess we do try to do things quietly.

....there are press rumours of us talking with other managers.

Not many, though.

Still, it's only gathered a head of steam this past week or so. I guess it takes a while to filter down to the national press.

Nah the national press have been using that space for the united rumours with jose and with the stuff about conte and chelsea, with a sprinkling of the rs in every edition

....I think the situation would be different if Kenwright was still calling the shots but you have to think Moshiri won't let it drift.

Sorry, not teasing, but there are things that can be said and can't be said.

After twenty years of just having "make do" appointments and strategies, I think it is going to take a while for blues to realise the massive changes that are going to occur at Everton over the next 5 years.

We truly are going to be revolutionised - it's going to take time but it will happen. One of the first steps will be the appointment of a manager/coaching team that can live by those ambitions.

Your posts truly make me think we're onto big things. Just out of interest (you might have already said this but I haven't seen), have you heard any bits of information about a particular potential manager?

Without you saying too much it would just be interesting to know if we have a man in mind.
