No he didn't say that? Did he? Oh yes of course he did"Today, we competed for every ball, were full of effort and intent in wanting to win but the luck at the moment is not on our side."We have an opportunity now on Sunday against Norwich to put in a big effort and try to finish with a good performance."
How can he keep a straight face when he says the above. He is so deluded its unbelievable. Just admit we are crap, the system and tactics arent working and the players have downed tools. At least us as fans would have a little more respect than the absolute crock of sh"t we have to hear and read after each game!
Ok, so I want him gone but I hold no grudges or wish any bad karma towards Martinez. To throw him into the lion enclosure on Sunday would be nothing short of disgraceful. £2M (or £3M whatever it is) or not, just bring it to an end. Let him leave with dignity.
He failed - so shoot him. Most of us saw it a long time ago - but Kenwright made himself look the utter tw*t that he is with that "What a Manager" quote. He is behind all this sorry mess - at any other club this would have been acted upon months ago. I don't care how much of an Evertonian he claims that he is - this all falls at his door. He needs to go too along with his buddies and never darken our door again. Sell up to Mosihiri, reset, clean slate, new Manager, new beginning.
I wish Martinez the best of luck in whatever he does next - we all fail at some point, but we pick ourselves up and move on. Sorry it didn't work out Roberto.

If he is still manager by then I feel it's important to let the board and kenwright know in no uncertain terms that it will be impossible to keep him on as manager.'Moshiri's thumb quivers... the tension is palpable amidst the audible rage around Goodison.
Bill shrieks, "What a manager, spare him!"... but too late. The thumb points down...
...signalling Mirallas and Barkley to escort the struggling Martinez towards the Lower Glwadys, which is thrashing with bile and anger.
"Any last words, Bobby?"
"PHENOMENA-"
*Baines snides in with a spear tackle and the players all watch with relief as he is engulfed by the baying mob.'
Seriously though I know people have been saying it and it's not fully transpired yet... but people will turn at the Norwich game, I feel - if he's not removed from the equation before then.
thats the impression I was getting... all very deliberate from the players
