You're advocating sticking with a failure of a manager who's taken a brilliant squad into the bottom half of the league.

All you're left with now is that Kenwright tends to give managers time, this guy doesn't deserve any more time, he's failed for the second season running in his core objective - the PL

The summer is the time for change this bloke simply isn't up to the job and he's well out of his depth at Everton
There's no change since last week's massive result against Chelsea: a loss against Arsenal doesn't cut across that. The man is safe and has been since last week because I doubt anyone at the club believes this PL season will get better. It's factored in. They have a choice in the summer to change their mind on Martinez, but it looks extremely unlikely that Kenwright is in any mood to remove a manager he's just called 'great' etc. If we get through to a final he''ll more likely give RM an extension.

*light bulb moment* maybe he's trying to get us in the same position as Leicester last year, and we'll power up the last few games and continue it next year then win the league when we buy the new Kante and Mahrez.

I hope we win the fa cup desperately..... but even if we do the clown must go.

I'll take a trophy and thank him very much but another season of this would send me over the edge. He's the most tactically diabolical coach in the league. I reckon Garde would have got us a better home record ffs

Thankfully Kenwright won't have the authority to make those kind of decisions.

So at the start of each season they decide not to worry about the league?

If we win two more games then we'll have our first trophy since 1995 and also qualified for europe for the second time in martinez' three seasons.

That would make him our best manager since kendall went to bilbao.

If we don't win those two games than yeah this season is a failiure. But I'm very reluctant to write it off now when that is still a possibility.

I think Kenwright knows Martinez's days are numbered, hence the Bobby love in with the new owner last week. My optimism is shot, I really really can't see any improvement.

Manager: a person responsible for controlling or administering an organization or group of staff. Whether the players are letting him down or not, he is responsible. Failure to motivate, organise etc, it all falls on his head.

The apparent laziness of today's performance can only have 1 of 2 causes. Either the players did what he said, and didn't press much, didn't hassle Arsenal and didn't chase them down like they did us. In which case it's a tactical failing. Or they don't listen to him, and they half-arsed the performance. When you have one bad egg in a team that's fair enough, but when the team uniformly plays that like with such regularity, it can only fall on one man's head.

The most damning thing for me is that so many of our players, individually, have had good seasons. It's confusing but some players especially are in the form of their life. And yet this is our worst PL season for yonks. It's utter madness. I've rarely felt that embarrassed as a blue; Teds on the Beeb just ripping into Everton, even the reasonably pro-Everton McNulty comparing our play to the Chuckle Brothers. I don't care what people outside Everton think as the world of football is awful, but it's a sad reflection of the way things are going.

There was a lot I hated about Moyes and I do not ever want him back, but under him we got a bit of pride back -- mainly through the fight and passion we showed on the pitch -- and instead of pushing on from that and breaking the glass ceiling (I felt Moyes often constructed himself, admittedly) I feel we're going backwards and losing that bit of pride. We are becoming an absolute joke. If I hear "the entertainers" one more time I'm going to lash the cat through the TV, then lash said TV through a bigger TV. And I'd still make less of a mess than Martinez has made of this season.
