Everyone who has posted in my book, seems to be pretty articulate and intelligent, whatever their view may be. Bit of mutual respect here wouldn't go amiss, considering we're all Evertonians like.

I couldn't agree more. IMO Martinez is being judged far too harshly, and sadly I fear that change is the only way forward...not because I don't think he's up for it, but it's become so toxic that I don't think it would be reversed even if we won 10 on the bounce. The first sign of failure would bring about the same toxicity.

Ultimately his positivity appears to be his downfall. Seems many would much rather have a dour soul as the manager of Everton. I for one do not want that, but I guess we can't always get what we want.
