I am still waiting on an answer to my previous response to you, however I will answer.

The toxic nature is down to fans who have the patience of Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka IMO.

No, a negative attitude doesnt help the players.

As for the fans, a lot of those fans, the 1s you claim have no patience, how long should they wait before they get unhappy, I mean what is the required amount of time they should accept the current squad sitting in 12th for? Personally speaking, I waited 18months, I personally think thats more than enough time for somebody to work on the most basic of footballing tactics.

Hat's off to you and the others who have campaigned in this international break to unseat the manager and get some momentum going.

You've been insistent and incessant in attack. If bridling against Martinez's tenure in enough numbers translated into anything meaningful he'd have been out of here by now. Unfortunately for you it means nothing of the sort. The real world beats to a different rhythm - one based on a cool assessment of past performance as well as present performance; on league and cup performance; on results now and the potential to progress; on the real potential of silverware this season; and on personal relationships between the protagonists.

Maybe matters will change on that score. Things can move quickly. But all the huffing and puffing in the world wont change anything in the short term.

There we have it, Dave preparing the ground for his exit strategy - this simple line is seeded so at to save face for when what he knows deep within comes to pass soon and Bobby gets the boot!
