I just take a consistent line and act loyally toward an Everton manager who has progressed this club. It's the very antithesis of fickleness.

Remember when we knocked back Barcelona after Martinez shocked Europe by taking a team from 6th to 5th. I've heard Barca are gutted now because we're playing football 'touched by the gods' and they're not.

The fact that Martinez and Neville get jobs in top European leagues with top sides show the utter stupidity of club owners and the power of the media. In no other walk of life would you get a top job if you had zero experience or had 'relegated' another company. Neither should be anywhere near top flight football. They should be hoping to work their way through the lower leagues where they belong.

Disagree there...if you are the right man for the job. Steve Kerr who is the head coach of the Golden State Warriors in the NBA had zero head coaching experience before being hired at the beginning of last season. He led them to the NBA title in his first season. He has them on pace to have the best record the NBA has ever seen this season.

I'd be a world class coach in the NBA though. Honestly how hard can it be? 'Throw the ball in the hoop,' that's the team talk done.
