My god. Do you remember where we were before he took over? Imagine offering the above scenario you've just mentioned, in 1998. We'd have been doing cartwheels in the street naked. So much for "doing F all"

I remember 04/05, the Newcastle game when we sealed it. Absolute dreamworld. From battling relegation to champions league qualification after selling his best player. Didn't hear one person going on about the aesthetic of the football then. Martinez has got nowhere near replacing that feeling, nowhere near. Best 2 moments were probably the Arsenal home game in 13/14 and the Chelsea QF the other week. Nothing that compared to the feeling Moyes gave the fans in that season though.

Which ultimately amounted to sweet F all.

Sooner He's gone the better. It's sad seeing some of our fans happy with mediocrity, I want us all United behind a club challenging for Europe and trophies, not sat squabbling as we slide more and more into regular midtable finishes.

They'll be no excuses or places to hide when Lukaku's departure turns those 3-3 draws into 3-2 defeats next season.

Pretty sure that had Wigan come straight back up, Martinez would have taken a world of stick for taking them down in the first place, so it's good to see he's also getting criticised for them getting relegated again when he wasn't in charge of the club at the time.

For a club like Wigan, survival is absolutely everything. They were financially crippled by being relegated from the Premier League, and haven't yet recovered, that's all we're saying

His THIRD season isn't even over yet...with a real chance of winning a Cup.

Patience is no longer a virtue.

Managers have to earn patience by showing signs that they are up to the job and learning from their mistakes. Martinez has shown none of these attributes hence why patience is thin. You also act as though three seasons is nothing, its more than most premier league managers get, Moyes deserved longer, Martinez currently doesn't. Obviously if he wins the cup that would all change. One of the only reasons people are confident though is because there's an assumption that United will be knocked out. If they're not they will be a formidable challenge to get past. There's still a long way to go yet people are talking about Martinez as a 'consistent trophy winner'. Baffling.

Looks like they're in a with a good shout at automatic promotion there.

Well in, Roberto.

Or has enough time passed that anything they go on to achieve cannot be attributed to him yet? I'm not an expert on these matters really.

He opened that can of worms when he started taking credit for the success Swansea have had.

As I have stated earlier, I am firmly in the Out camp because of fans like you.

We can't go into another season with a fractured fan base again.

Even if we win the Cup there will be folks (lots of them) that will immediately criticize him at the drop of a hat.

He is just too polarizing.
