How dare people even mention martinez in the same breath has Harry and Howard. The fraud doesn't deserve to be acknowledged in the company of greats

People getting way too hung up on points...
United won the league with 80 points in 2011
They came second with 89 in 2012
Positions mean everything at the end of the day in football, comparing points on a season to season basis alone isn't particularly accurate

(Don't mention that Moyes got us to two semis and a final before though)
In 11 years...
In 11 years...
Because of course he was going to win the FA Cup in his first 3 years with Tobias Linderoth and Alessandro Pistone in the team
Meh...Roberto won it with a crap team.
And look at the wonderfully healthy state he left them in
Livin' it up in the 3rd division
As annoying as Mino Raiola is piping up during every international break, can anyone really argue with his logic?
The reality of football is that if you have a player of a certain level, you need to be competing at that level to keep them happy. Romelu Lukaku is a proven 20+ goal a season striker and is improving all of the time.
The question for the club this summer is not can they keep him, but how much can they make the buying club pay? Everton have had every chance to fulfill Lukaku's ambitions since signing him and we haven't even come close.
This season Leicester City could run away with the league title and it so easily could have been us. Do they have better players than Everton? No.
Are they a better team? Absolutely.
The blame rests entirely with the manager who hasn't learned from his mistakes or made the most of this stellar squad of players.
And look at the wonderfully healthy state he left them in
Still doesn't excuse Moyes for pretty much doing F all in 11 years, except make you comfortable with an average of 8th in the table, no pots, and a grand total of 4 European qualifications. Stellar.
My god. Do you remember where we were before he took over? Imagine offering the above scenario you've just mentioned, in 1998. We'd have been doing cartwheels in the street naked. So much for "doing F all"
