The entire team should have played better, I agree. We should have defended better, we should have finished our chances and created more and been more competitive in midfield. They didn't do any of that so we lost.

It's difficult to argue the manager had nothing to do with that.

But it's a league game and it means nothing and our players are playing that it means nothing.

If we win the semi, nothing else matters. If we don't then ....

4 wins in the last 14 league games is it? Any other team would have sacked their manager by now. Poor performance against the worst united team I can remember for some time and a potential opponent in the semi final. Surely today we should be putting down a marker and giving them something to worry about. It's all well and good saying the cup is the only important games to play this season but wins in the league are vitally important. 1st it breeds confidence, 2nd the higher up the table the better the prize money, 3rd we actually need to win a bloody game as it's been far too long, 4th they were crap!
