I doubt many would agree that there isn't a large number of people who'd rather see RM out the door rather than win the cup.

Win the cup then leave is the best for everyone, we just have to win that cup, but we also have to get shut of Roberto, but neither is dependent on the other, he goes regardless of what happens in the cup.

For anybody who thinks he is the manager to lead everton into the new era please look at his players efforts to win the ball back when 1 nil down in last 10 mins. A total lack of team effort and co ordination and commitment. They all stood 10 /15 yards off the ball. How can anybody defend him if he loses cup semi.

4 wins in the last 14 league games is it? Any other team would have sacked their manager by now. Poor performance against the worst united team I can remember for some time and a potential opponent in the semi final. Surely today we should be putting down a marker and giving them something to worry about. It's all well and good saying the cup is the only important games to play this season but wins in the league are vitally important. 1st it breeds confidence, 2nd the higher up the table the better the prize money, 3rd we actually need to win a bloody game as it's been far too long, 4th they were crap! This guy has been here too long now.

Bottom line is we got beat at OT 1-0...people are putting the illicit "it was shocking, the players have lost it, it's free fall' spin on it. But at the end of the day it was another OT defeat...and a close one at that.

I;d hate to see some on here in a real crisis.
