Of course we could've gotten more if we would've won against Watford, Swansea and the RS. But there is also the game against Chelsea, and we have won against both Southampton and West Brom at their grounds.

My point is, i expected a point return close to that we have now after seeing our fixture list back in august. It's the next 9 games that will show if Martinez has learned from the last season or not.

This was said a lot last year. Let's hope it works out differently.

Better to be consistent overall though. Like not going missing when we play well and win then turn up again to post a lot when we have a rough couple of results.

wow bit OTT. He is not beyond criticism but IMO he is doing a decent job and building a long term structure rather than a short term fix. Until we can compete in the transfer market we will always be fighting to make the cut. I am not comparing but Howard Kendall took some time for his young players to gel but he stuck to it even though the fans called for his head. That was a long term plan that worked. Its the only way to go if finances are not ready available to buy success.

I don't think he's ever going to sort the defence out, but at least he started with two wingers.

Defence is actually one of the best in the league. It's the goalkeeper and midfield where the problem lies. Most games Jags Stones Galloway are the busiest players on the pitch making most of the play and defending heroically. The problem is any mistake whatsoever and they're punished. If I was them I'd be demanding Howard is dropped. He's making them look bad and Stones and Jags could both lose their Euro 2016 place over it if he carries on gifting goals all season.

Hopefully they are asking that. If they're not, the likes of Stones etc will vote with their feet anyway

Howard is woeful, but the centre halves aren't the best at dealing with aerial balls either.
