As stated before Moyes steadied the Everton ship and got us within spiiting distance of Europe football and in a couple pf times but failed basically at the first hurdle. First and foremost he bought stability and respect to our club on the field but that is it.
Rgards RM, admittedly I was not in his camp when first appointed but accept he is the new manager and should be given time and some lattitude to get on with his job. Stop trying to pitch him agaisnt what Moyes has done when we have not as yet played a game with him on the bench. If he can in his first season give the club a 5th, 6th or 7th spot then I think he will have done well barring any player losses and who ever may come in.
As for Moyes, the Man U expectations are to win the PL again and get to the CL final. Irrespective of the players there, I think it will be a hard task bearing in mind his crazy subbing at times and dubious tactics, he will not change. BTW I do not wish him good luck.

With regards to not being able to get Wigan out of the bottom 15 for 4 seasons, well people with the glass half full (me) would say he did well to keep them up for that long considering that he had to sell best players and bring others in willing to accept 10 bob wages. Wigan was on par with a championship team structure.

David Moyes spent about £30m on strikers and never got one who was consistently good.

When he looked like getting the job, I was firmly of the belief that he wasn't good enough. Then I heard him talking about the club, and felt like he "got it", and I became much more positive.
Now, with the calibre of names we're being linked with (not to mention the increasing likelihood that we're about to lose our two best players, while Roberto is off presenting for ESPN), I'm back to being gravely concerned that he thinks he still at a club of Wigan's level.
Desperately hope I'm proven wrong.

Yeah I always wondered why he didn't hire scouts who could spot a striker, his strikers have always got off and never wanted to stay.

Martinez is on his holiday leave and this booking was already booked, he will still be working behind the scenes, he cannot help it tho if Baines and Fellaini go, he already come out and said he wants both players to stay.
