I'm relaxed. We might win over the Christmas, we might not. I think we'll pick up 4 points in the next two games, but I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't.
Christmas throws up a lot of strange results. We'll be ok though. I stick with my 60+ point season total, as we always have a better second half of the season than a first half.
We won three on the spin over Christmas/New Year under Moyes in 2008/09. We had a great one under Royle in 1995/96 with three wins.Over a number of years two things seem to underpin Everton. 1) Terrible opening weekend of the season. 2) Awful over Christmas.
I remember 1 year we hammered Sunderland 5-0 under Smith. He was a bit of the exceptions of the Christmas period but terrible around the rest of the season. Other than that, I can't remember us doing well. It's annoying really, as a win at Christmas always seems to mean a bit more.
My point to this is I can see us getting beat today. I am not confident. I think we'll beat Spurs though.

Santa is not Spanish though...Dear Roberto Martinez, please try and win some football matches.
Thanks from all at GOT.
It's ok. Especially in a season where we can do well in the cups and see this team bed down and its young core of players gel together and develop. That'd be a good season. Then strengthen in the summer with another attacking player (playmaker) and GK. That sounds like a plan.6th, 7th 8th?? and that's good?? well compared to last season yes. But in terms of where we should and could actually be...nah.

You wont have to pay too much if anything at all if history repeats itself and we get a shift on 2nd half of the season.well yes it is some sort of a plan, whether the likes of Stones, Lukaku and delboy will stick around for phases II, III, and IV is another matter.
I personally think you're living in a dream world and will bung $10 per point over 59 we get to Alder Hey.

But nothing as remotely good going back for two decades.
We just dont do good Christmas's, unfortunately.
Just get behind your team FFS nobody is bothered if you think you're right about Martinez being a fraud. Some just waiting around to boast 'I told You so' like the odds where ever against them, odds are he won't win nothing but he could do so get behind him while he's here FFS.
