I don't agree with asking him to do THIS unless Martinez knows the back story (cos I don't). He could be getting duped here umpteen cack scenarios could be going on if someone you don't know turns up with a T shirt and a story.

If he knows the story is kosha fair enough but just wandering over puts him in a crap position and sets a precedent for all and sundry to turn up at Finch Farm wanting similar.

There's nothing sinister - the lad was a talented boxer killed in a hit and run accident by a car in Bootle at the end of May. Police and family have been appealing for witnesses to come forward. Nothing controversial and there's no chance of any 'comeback' on Martinez. I agree it is unusual, but Martinez should be applauded for doing this. The story was all over the local media about 6 weeks ago:
