53 goals in all completions this season.....53 goals in 27 games FFS!!!!!
Cup final one step away.
3 points off the much coveted (by some) top 7 spot.
2 losses in 16 games.

That, gentlemen is game set and match. The scores on the doors. The stats that matter. The facts pure and simple.

But carry on the knee jerk, by all means.
Dave, maybe you should learn what the word used in the thread title means - "discussion" - as you are painfully unable to hold one.

No, you're the one who knows for a fact that leicester won't get top 4 so come on have me a bet now, £100, what do you say mate, put your money where your mouth is
So you won't place your bet with the bookies then.

Fair enough. But. I would have thought someone who believes so much in Leicester might want to get some decent odds. But there you go.

Easier said than done I suppose.

Is that the mighty Leicester who just got held by Villa? The Leicester that's taken 6 points in the last 6 games? The Leicester that'd stand a mammoth 6 points ahead of United if United win tomorrow?

That Leicester?

Yeah Dave the same Leicester that beat us a couple of weeks ago, don't be so arrogant mate you come across as a proper tool when your actually a decent bloke normally.

and is this the same united that in the past 6 games has lost to Bournemouth, Norwich and Stoke and drew with Chelsea and Newcastle, only having beaten Swansea mate? btw United has taken 5 points in the last 6 games, just saying

Oh and get your facts straight as well in the past 6 games Leicester have beaten us and spurs, drew with villa, Bournemouth and City and only lost to the rs, i make that 9 points in the past 6 mate

Dunno where your getting your stats from like, but yeah even if united win tomorrow then over the past 6 games Leicester will still have taken 9 points to Uniteds 8 mate, so yeah your points been proven their

as a further aside mate in the past 6 games we have taken 6 points - so 3 less than the mighty Leicester and the same number as you tried to mock them for supposedly (and wrongly) having taken

We've drawn 11 out of 22 League games, but we've been held back because the reward for a draw is a single point.

It doesn't take much to turn a draw into a win or a defeat. Without playing any better overall, we might have had 5 wins 1 draw and 5 defeats - and 34 points, enough to put us in the top six.

And if we had played just a little better - or had a little more luck - we could have had even more points.

It won't take very much to tip the balance. We are so close to achieving success - isn't it worth persevering a little longer?

Its not almost there, its continued for coming up to 2 seasons now, I mean how long do we wait for it to be fixed?

60 games played 18 wins 22 draws 20 loses

How anybody can be happy with that is beyond me.
If you listen to some on here our squad building is like painting the forth rail bridge. An on going thing were we will never ever see the finished product

That's all very true actually. But remind me again, did you actually nail your colours to the mast on Leicester and their CL chances? I can't remember now, but I think not.

Probably wise if you didn't tbh. Don't want to be a hostage to fortune on that one, I wouldn't anyway.

Personally I think they've peaked and they'll find the rest of the season a hard slog. I'm calling them in at EL spot at the very most.
