So in our last 13 league game we've won 3, that's definitely progress.....

I think most of us are frustrated today, some are a little happy I guess
One individual error gives them a goal then a real impetus and they were rewarded with then a deflected goal.
We then make positive subs and in effect get the winner, they then threw everything at us as they had nothing to lose. Now they are rewarded with a off side goal (the time issue I am not making too much of it).
I know another draw and dissapointing as yes we did in some respects concede a 2 goal lead, but you have to look at the game overall and you have to say the gods conspired against us. I am not using this as an excuse and defending the manager, I am gutted by the way the game went and I am dissapointed that once again we drop 2 points.
Make no mistake my annoyance/dissapointment is not with the manager and how we are progressing or our position in the league. It is simply as an Evertonian I am saddened that a result we deserved we are left with a point

I would of took a point before the game, but sitting here it feels like a defeat

I am. 4 points in a season off them - you'd have to be a complete nobhead not to be happy about that.

See Dave, the thing is I'm really up for an actual discussion, but you're being very stubborn with your views and declare everyone against them a knee-jerker, it seems, so with you it's about as possible to have a discussion as it is with Damon.

Are people knee jeering though? A season and a half isn't a knee jerk. I don't see many saying he should be sacked, just sort the defending and drop Howard.

Martinez will be judged on results not style. We won't improve results until he sorts the keeper and defence. This doesn't need time, it needs him to take action.

We all need to be patient with this. If the team is kept together and the defensive brain farting gets fixed we could be right up there by this time next year.

Its not almost there, its continued for coming up to 2 seasons now, I mean how long do we wait for it to be fixed?

We're not winning enough mate. No one needs to tell me about that. But here's something we HAVE to agree on: we're tough to beat, we're playing great footy on the attack, we've seen we can defend well in the previous two games, we are developing a great squad under this manager.

I have no problem with the attacking side but the naïveté in defence is ridiculous. At 2 0 we should be able to kill a game and the frustration amongst the supporters in the ground is palpable

We gave Moyes 10 years cos he took a team that was dying and brought it back to life.

Martinez has taken a team on the verge and turned it into a mid table no mark.

Its not even about Moyes, Pulis, freaking Watford manager or the square headed weapon at Southampton.

Its about the best Everton squad in years, rammed full of players that are the envy of every club in the world, sitting in 11th place.

Thats the bottom line.

Our overall league position is completely unacceptable regardless of the robbery we suffered today. As I'm sure has been said, on these cup games hang our whole season. That's not really acceptable give the players we have.

Even when people talk about the cups, its a bit unfair on season ticket holders and fans who support the team away from home. The attitude of some is "sod the league, we aren't bothered about the 6th place trophy we want a cup."

That is fine, but season ticket holders pay decent money to watch the team over the course of a season. Trust me, having seen the club win three games at Goodison I am not feeling the cup vibe.

What about us who aren't demanding a sacking, but are concerned at roberto's clear defensive shortcomings? I'd love your confidence but there's nothing to suggest success is imminent. Most fans are going to judge roberto in the summer, and for that judgement to be favourable we're gonna need to win a heck of a lot more often.

Current league position isn't good enough. We will be 12th come monday, and were basically 2/3rds through. It's fair to question him.
