Roberto Martinez discussion

He had about 7 of his best players sold from under him in the last 2 seasons. Let's be honest if Kenwright flogged all of Lukaku, Barkley, Deloufou, Stones, McCarthy and Coleman yet we still were only 5 points off 5th place we would hail martinez as a miracle worker.

He's also had his first choice keeper out for almost a year with injury whilst our manager persists with that clown Howard.

Hes spent 100m on players.

And to be frank, the players they sold werent even close to the quality of the players you mentioned, we utterly dicked them at home, probably 1 of our easiet games of the season.

Chances are, he will more than likely be sacked soon.

@davek

Another belter here, Zola? You really are the font of all knowledge.

We just played Chelsea(a), Spurs and Man City (a)twice and not lost with 1 win an a draw. We're 90 mins away from a cup final and 5 points off 6th, all this fume is because Leicester are top and we're all jealous, we've 16 games to go, we can easly win 10 of them.
The fume is well over the top.
18 win in 69 or what ever it is, is irrelevant, last seasons OVER, GONE. The only mistake Martinez makes is Howard, he cost us points all season, he well past his best and needs dropping.

Previously we played Stoke, Newcastle, Leicester, Norwich, Palace, Bournemouth...and won 1 of them in injury time by one goal. Lost 2 of them.

Watford are also 5 points from 6th. RS, Stoke, West Ham, all closer to 4th than we are.

The fume isn't over the top as a regular pattern of conceding 2+ goals a game and throwing points away is happening week in week out and he's done nothing to stop it.

What does that say about us when they are ahead of us in the league?

BTW, I highly doubt he will be sacked soon

Football is a results business, hes not getting results.

Results = Draws away to Chelsea.

Basically he loses to many games and hes spent a vast sum of money on 2nd rate players.

Plenty and McLaren also.

is this you lying again Dave. If you can find where I said you wanted Lennon, I'd be very impressed.
Listen mate, I realise you're a frustrated feller with the Martinez revolution barely a third of the way through and you know you'll have to continue to hate all things Everton until it's over, but calm yourself down. There's literally nothing you can do to effect change in your direction. You're utterly powerless.

Not only that, I'm sure the rest of the posters in this thread are tired of this 'conversation', I known I am.

It is what it is. Just settle down until the manager moves on. If you can.
