Roberto Martinez discussion

I take it though you accept the principle that Martinez has a full on 'Everton-mode' ?

Its that which we haven't seen enough of. Our players dominating the opposition and the ball.
We were back to full throttle after the attacking-lite game versus Spurs and City.

On a serious note then, based on the comment above does it in no way concern you that in the 2 games you mentioned we scored 1 goal in 180 minutes, when by your own admission we toned down the attacking in order to defend, then on the other hand when we 'went full throttle' we were back to conceding 3 goals. The third of which had officiating issues but we also failed in a few aspects with regards the goal ourselves?

...same amount of points from each of them.

This is what I keep reverting too, but the kiddies have their fingers in their ears.

If we don't get European football, all those players who are very good will be picked off by teams who do.

Exactly, even a cup win won't make players stay. It would be great for us fans but top players want Champions league football.

I'm sure they love Bobby, but they'll also love playing against Madrid Barcelona and Bayern.

We had a chance this year with our squad, but he stuck with a keeper everyone knew was past it and has failed to change it. This error is the only issue I have with the manager as I think the defence would instantly feel and play better without the clown, see our cup run for evidence!

The Kopites being beaten in their cup final: upshot is we've pulled a point closer to them this weekend and can overtake them next weekend with a win when they're away at Norwich (hopefully with a Naismith debut goal).

Nice.
