29% league win ratio over last 61 games.

29% win ratio in time at Wigan.

....the WIGAN stats and comparisons don't count 'cos they don't mean anything....Dave K said so, think it might even be a law or something?!?!

I got a text off a WIGAN fan today. It said "told ya...LOL", that was it. And he did tell me too, he told me all about how he thought it'd pan out with BOB. And I laughed when he did, all that time ago.

And he was DEAD right too.

It's not funny now though.

I want to support him, i want him to do well at Everton FC, he's built a superb young team, but he's making it harder and harder to get behind him and support him every week.

Now that Roberto, is a 'shame'.

If he doesn't win a cup, he'll go in the summer and he should. Simple as. Better squad then last year and yet we're in the same position in the league. A couple more poor results (and how are people currently feeling about the derby?) and we'll be flirting with relegation again. I have been a Martinez supporter but My patience is not infinite. Many here like me called to give him another season. Well he's half way through and the signs are not great, are they? But hey: a win on Wednesday and things might feel a little better.
Don't think a cup win should be the deciding factor in whether he stays or goes. Cup win and a top half finish at the very least. Don't look for too many excuses, he has the players to perform at a much higher level than we currently are.

The more you think about it the more amazing it is that he actually got the job in the first place.

His stock was obviously high after winning the FA Cup but success in cup competitions is often as much down to luck as it is quality of management. Basically we appointed someone who'd achieved nothing in the league and got his team relegated.

But if Moyes was here we wouldnt have a team containing those players

We would have different players, yes. But Moyes managed to sign plenty of top players, as have many managers. The idea that Martinez has some special knack of attracting great players is false. Moyes brought Stones, as well as the likes of Yakubu, Arteta, Lescott, Jagielka, Baines, Pienaar, Fellaini etc etc. Martinez has no special quality of attracting players.

to the people saying the moyes shouts are this/that, do you any of you think he'd have finished 11th last year with that team and 12th so far this season with this one?

i dont think thats the point.

i dont want him because its not the type of football i want and 11 years was enough, thanks.

he was also a bell when he moved to Man U.
