Said the same just then, last season he was bob on with everything- tactics/picking a well balanced side and making effective sub changes.

This season im struggling to remember any of this,

Lukaku on the bench/put on the wings in numerous games

He's made some blunders this season, but a string of them cost us dear there today.

He's a good manager. Very good. But FFS he needs to get his thinking cap on again. He could start by dropping the Mr Nice guy routine, squeezing players into a team they dont fit into.
 
Last game he played naismith on the right, he kept leaving his position an basically nullified Coleman's threat as he was facing 2 players an had no1 to over lap with. This week he shifted Barkley out wide which nullified baines untill Barkley got moved central an Baines had someone to over lap with. Nasimths played well this season but not well enough to disjoint the team over. Pick one or the other an get the season back in track.

We've been saying that all season mate, 10 games in and we have dropped so many points. I fear he may end up peeing the likes of barkley and lukaku off just to keep Naismith in the side.

You can't slag Naismith off on here but he's a massively limited player when teams sit back

The Balance of the side suited Swansea - RM got it wrong today - Besic was the only shining light!
 
He is lacking that hunger from last season.
Why waste a loan on atsu don't get that.
Mcgeady an osman should not be starting and he does not know how to play naismith and rom.
Barkley on the left wing is as bad as starting rom on the right i don't get it at all.
We need a plan b and not over play this tippy tappy slow sideways football.
He has time in the bank but is messing up since the summer.
 
What's also concerning Is that we seem incapable of maintaining any sort of form, 1 or 2 wins at most then back to square one.

We laugh at the kopites but their still above us and sadly will pick up slightly when sturridge is back, whilst with us it's not even missing players atm it's martinez making bad team selections

Swansea parked the bus bigtime , apart from 10 mins after the break they were content to sit and hit on the break.
We could have had 2 or 3 today , if we'd have scored early on they would have had to come out.
I might not agree with every decision he makes but I back him once he's made them.
Unfortunately we are missing Mirallas thats why McGeady played, the rest to a man were on the teamsheet on merit .
We bossed the game all over the pitch just lacked a goal , Howard hasnt had a save to make.
So stop the crap lads games like this happen , frustrating ? Yes end of the world ?No.

Swansea may have parked the bus but we have to then change things to break them down,martinez seems to just close his eyes and hope for the best.
We are missing kev but there should be a winger ready to fill in for him,mcgeady is not good enough and atsu is not ready.
If you pay 28 million pound for a striker play him and not as a right winger.
We have a world class midfielder in barkley what is he doing on the left wing.
Martinez has no idea how to play rom and naismith and yet he is moving things round to accomodate naismith.
I realise martinez is well loved on here and seems a nice man but he is not managing our great club well at the moment.
One home win all season so far in the league with the squad he has got is very poor indeed.
