Also lukaku played today if he was that hurt he wouldn't have been risked today martinez doesn't put people on the bench if their not atleast fit enough to play.

There is quite a big difference between being able to play a full match and the ability to come on as a sub for less than 30mins.
 
I'll leave it at that as obviously some people cant get past their hard ons for Naismith and or martinez. We are just lucky the RS are without sturridge and spurs are hopeless otherwise top 6 would be out of the question already. We are a shadow of ourselves from last season and the side has been made inconsistent through needless changes and the squeezing of certain players into the side regardless of its effects on the balance of the team.

Can't we just have a different opinion to you without it being because of this?

What's the RS got to do with anything?

When you have people arguing that our £28 million pound signing should be moved out onto the wing to accommodate Naismith in the side as thiery Henry could play on the wing and cut in then you know your not going to have a rational debate.

I love martinez I think he was fantastic Last season, but I'm not blinkered enough to pretend he's been upto scratch this season, he messed up pre season for me, he should brought another 1/2 loan signings in considering the fact our defence was a shambles the first 3 games/ barkley out for 2 months+ and blue tinted glasses off the villa and west Brom games aside we haven't looked convincing all season. Even wolfsburg had Howard not been on top form that game could have easily been a 4-4 thriller etc.

He's got 28 games to turn it around and I'm confident he can do, but he needs to sort things out that he HAS got influence over.
 

This is not a game of Football Manager where a player comes back from injury and is good to go in all matches immediately.

This is not a game of Football Manager where you can play 4-2-3-1 every match with the same players playing the same roles each time and boss sides

Last season we had one match a week. This season we have a European place wehope to go far in.

Swansea played bloody well. We were poor in the final third but these things happen and their defense was spot on and Alcaraz's injury knocked our shape.

yes we were poor at passing but every team has poor and indifferent runs - it's frustrating we can't capitalise on the RS' muck up but we'll keep going

Compared to how we were playing under Moyes I'm more than happy with this. 1 goal conceded in 3 games now - defence is tightening up

And your solution to this is to play the exact same team in the exact same formation, game after game regardless of their tiredness, fitness or the opponents strengths/weaknesses?
