My choice would be Jose, when he said no, I would probably go for Cocu, if he said no, Vitor would be my 3rd choice, after that I have nothing.
But my ideal choice is that fella we had a few seasons back, Roberto something.

As soon as Martinez is toasted I'll be rar into the let's move forward and he was never good enough camp.
I would love Martinez to stay and prove us all wrong - I'm still not fully turning on him I'm just now no where near as confident he has what it takes to change our defending in any way, and ultimately he has to take responsibility.
If he does go - in the summer - then for me, realistically I'd go for Flores from Watford. Think he's experienced enough but has a similar style to RM with a defensive edge also, to take this team and system on to the next level - and has the big team experience as well.
Paulo Souza has also had a great season with Fiorentina, while De Boer and Cocu are also shouts.

No im not turning on him myself yet, im not saying SACK, SACK, SACK, im just saying, as ive feel like ive been saying for 12months, im just saying I want to see something to cling onto, something that makes me want him to stay, games like yesterday make me wonder WHY.
Well no mutley makes a good point mate.
RM gets until the end of the season. He gets us the cup, or somehow manages top 7/8, and shows that he can turn around the home form (which for 75 mins yesterday he had done before shooting himself in the foot), then he stays.
If not I agree he should go.

My thing to cling onto has been that it's the best attacking and entertaining football I have ever seen played in my lifetime.
But when he does what he did yesterday, after showing everybody how good he can be, makes it extremely hard to take and the doubt is now firmly entrenched with me.
