Maybe, but that is where strength in depth comes into play which is something that we can't financially afford really. And as has been said earlier in the thread, if you look at Chelsea they have had no issues with their major players being out injured and they're taking the league by storm because the team has largely stayed the same line up wise. Whereas we've been disjointed which I think is part of the reason for our slow passing.

Don't agree its the reason for our slow passing but see your point on the injury front.

There is absolutely no way Kenwright will sack Martinez as he is on a 5 year contract and he will not be seen as a chairman who sacks managers at the first signs of things not going well.We have to back Martinez and hope that he can turn it round, sniping at him now is just counter productive as like it or not the earliest sacking him will even be under consideration is if we are relegated.
I would not have chosen Martinez in the first place but he surprised us all last season so we can not turn on him now we will not finish in the top 6 this season but it can be a decent season if we can have a tilt at one of the cups.
