Does it make a difference that we normally finish above Spurs?

In the last 10 seasons we've finished about Spurs 3 times. 2 of those times were pre 2010.

all have spent far more over the years and have squads vastly superior to you. You need to take a step back and realise where your team is at. After those 4 it is Spurs + Liverpool then us, West Ham, Palace and you Everton on a similar level.

I think it's time a few of you done the right thing and meekly apologise for wanting to set this club back ten years by sacking off our manager last season. I'd do it for sure if I'd acted like a Geordie and wanted him gone.

My take on the Martinez In/Out chat is this:

I never WANTED to sack him, but there was a few times where it was becoming extremely concerning. I voted a few times to get rid because it was looking very precarious and felt a new manager might save us from what was looking like relegation. But I'm also really glad things are picking up. Right now I do not want him sacked.

I'm sure there's many who have a similar view.

I think in the inevitable Martinez in/out poll that appeared after seemingly every game last year (where are they now so everyone can vote in btw?), I may have voted out once. . Maybe twice but in my defence I am a bottling knee jerker and it's not like anyone takes any notice of them anyway as they were generally a place for bed wetters.
