Not sure if someone else has already said this, but I wouldn't get too hung up on the formations that have previously been used by RM.

He'll pick according to what he thinks is most suited to the players he has/can bring in. If he thinks that's 3 at the back then so be it. He likes the full-backs to push forward but so did Moyes. Using FB's that way is equally effective with a deep CM rather than needing a 3rd CB.

(Ps apols for the abbreviations)

in any case the same applies for all teams so not a huge advantage in the end. And it will end up going in the pockets of greedy players and their agents

The advantage is determined by how the money is spent. There are rules that limit the amount of TV money that can be spent on wages. The extra 14 million figure applies to the team finishing bottom of the league, prize money increases dramatically for higher placed finishes.

The best article on the matter was linked on here a few months back but I can't remember what it is. It didn't have explicit figures for all the new foreign TV deals, but with some yank channel talking about broadcasting every single premier league game then I'd say that that they'd have had to pay one hell of a fee to secure that!

I wish I had a link to it, but it would be pointless showing it to many Evertonians as they prefer to make instant excuses as to how/why the money won't be spent, or how it will make no difference.

The difference that the likes of Mirralas, Coutinho, even Gibson and Coleman can make to teams is huge, so I find it crazy to say that an extra 120 million over the next 3 years definitely won't make a difference.

I was impressed with the fact that he's got a degree in Business and he's a fully qualified physio. He had some very interesting things to say about injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Besides his managerial ability he seems an incredibly nice guy too and will certainly carry on the good work left by Moyes and the club in that respect.

Plus, he's 39 FFS!

sounds good to me.
