Cant shake this relegation triumph, I'm the sort of person who accepts victories on the basis of what was lost in the battle, he lost his premier league status. Is that acceptable for Wigan? As they aren't a big club, they have fought relegation yearly.

i can't help think the hard on over his fa cup triumph will see him get the job.

I was impressed with the fact that he's got a degree in Business and he's a fully qualified physio. He had some very interesting things to say about injury prevention and rehabilitation.

Besides his managerial ability he seems an incredibly nice guy too and will certainly carry on the good work left by Moyes and the club in that respect.

Plus, he's 39 FFS!

Favourite holiday destination is Dubrovnik and mums like him.

Btw, rumour about Martinez to Malaga makes me think he isn't certain to get Everton job. Sounds like a PR move done by his camp/agents to pressure Kenwright, so in reality they are worried that he is far from being a lock for the job.

No I wouldn't cos they have had their chances at a bigger club, ALex went to villa and failed, and Steve had never recovered from when he was Manager of England. Martinez had not had his chance yet, plus he 39 and already had 4 years training in this league and had already turned down Villa and the rs due his own personal reasons. I would deffo take a gamble on him to see what he can do with better tools.
