Don't know why people are freaking out over the statement tbh, seems like they're being cautious about a signing for once after the whole Fer debacle, don't want to confirm/deny anything until it's all sorted.

whiiiiich you'd think they would have learned about after the Ever Banega debacle, and previously with the Riquelme debacle.

Everton dont learn their lesson. As sure as the sun rises, as sure as taxes will be levied, this board will make the same stupid ****ing mistakes over and over.

I love the name changes to this thread.

Next one will be:

The Dave Whelan ballsed up the Martinez move (and broke his leg in the FA Cup Final in 1732) Thread.

On me reps

awwww the poor baby cry. i say what i think by webbing you all over this town buster.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha....Who is letting their kids stay up this late.

By the way I will support Bob Martin ( if he signs )...Just not Bill the liar.

Whelan the clown: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8756217/?

But he said on Monday: "Sometimes I wind the chairman up at Everton because we've had some really serious fun and entertainment watching Everton play Wigan. We get on so well together.

"When I say things like 'I thought you meant a big football club', I'm winding Bill (Kenwright) up. They are a big club, no question.

"After leaving Wigan, I think Everton is the next stop of Roberto before he goes to the very, very top.

"Everton is run very similarly to Wigan, it's a family-run club, a friendly club with a great bunch of supporters. They're a bigger club than Wigan and it's a super club.

"(If he goes) I will say to Roberto - which I've already said, because I had a meeting with him tonight - I will wish him nothing but the very best of luck."

Even in that he's still having a pop, that crap about Martinez 'on his way to very, very top'.
