He's been at us for one season and it's a massive portrait of him. There is no need for it and i myself PERSONALLY find it to be cringey and a bit small time. You're right it isn't a statue but it's still a massive portrait which i just don't find needed. Especially only after one season.

I'm not arsed about the cost. I just don't like us putting a massive portrait of someone who has literally only been here in one season.

I love Martinez and i think he's great, and it would've been different if he had won a cup or something but even then i'd find it cringey. It's just not to my taste.

I didn't say it was good or a good thing. I said i don't see anything wrong with it. I haven't really had time to think why its good or bad yet. You said it was bad, cringey and now small time. Where did this term ' small time ' come from. I heard the same things being lashed around last week over Barkley. Its honestly tiresome to hear people say this, because as a whole, it doesn't show our football club in a bad light and has no negative effect on our club either.

I'm not really a fan either, if someone posted this in the Liverpool World Football thread about Rodgers on the side of Anfield I would have contacted every Liverpool fan I know by now mocking them and laughing hysterically and doing all sorts of crap mock ups with paint.
