Where did this term ' small time ' come from. I heard the same things being lashed around last week over Barkley. Its honestly tiresome to hear people say this, because as a whole, it doesn't show our football club in a bad light and has no negative effect on our club either.

Well it does show the club in a bad light to other fans but i'm literally not arsed what fans of other clubs think. I say its bad, cringey and small time because i personally believe it is.
 
It's not nearly big enough... I wouldn't mind seeing him mowed into the grass pattern on the pitch...
 
Can't believe the whinging about this. Bobby has been the best thing to happen to Everton for years. He could be Everton manager for the next 11 years and not win anything as Moyes didn't, does that mean we can't honour him? It's not rawk to put up a big image of our manager on the side of the stadium, just as it's not rawk to take flags and banners to the game or wear replica shirts as a fully grown adult . There's a certain section of Everton fans who are even more obssessed with Liverpool fans than they are with us
 
I think it places a lot of pressure on the manager. I cant believe he'd have been fully on board with that. It's got the potential to be counterproductive for him if or when we have a poor run of form.

You only do tricks like this when a manager is completely unassailable in terms of their credibility.

A holy trinity of Kendall, Royle and Catterick would have been more appropriate. Or a mural of men like Mahon and Baxter who were crucial to Everton's early history.
 

As long as we never produce an Everton version of this then I can live with it

The salient point is that he's 10 years short of that mark and whilst we all think he's great, let's keep a sense of perspective ffs.
 

I'll chirp in and say it is a big no for me. As some have said it is very un-Everton. It is similar to getting a tattoo of a girl you have only been seeing for 2 weeks or something.

I expect to hear "Where is the Roberto Martinez murial painting money Bill?" some time soon. :)
