Confirmed Signing Robin Olsen

Maybe.

Think it's telling Everton went for Romero and Gazzaniga, before this fella at the death though.

Let's see - I pretty confident Pickford remains number one. I'd be surprised if Olsen makes a single premier league appearance.

Has Lossl ever played? Don’t recall if he has

Agree with that. I can only assume that it's basically a superficial thing to give him a good kick and see how he reacts. Then next summer if he hasn't sorted himself out they'll look for a proper replacement.

Rome
Exactly ;)

Romeo would have been definite direct competition...

It was reported we went for Romeo and the Spurs lad, it’s obvious now Man U and Spurs were too concerned about strengthening us so blocked the moves. There is literally nothing the club can do about that and no point crying about it. The question is should we not then go for the next on the list who is Olsen to give Pickford competition. We’ve done the right thing is getting him in IMO. We could not afford to wait and allow Pickford to make untold mistakes he’s not accountable for

Nope, again it's strange how peoples' memories work - his distribution first season for us straight through it was first class. The season after the whole "smash it out of play, hold hand up saying sorry then do it again five minutes later, repeat ad nauseum" thing started to happen.

Strange that because looking at his statistics, his first season was his 2nd worse for success rate of his passes (44%). Second season (41%). It’s massively got better because he’s averaging 60% with the same amount of average long balls.

so he has always been garbage at distributing. At Sunderland they played at lot more long balls than (almost 4 per game), it’s where all this BS came from

Announcement vid is Lossl sitting on the bench. Pickford collects the ball for a goal kick but goes down holding his hammy. Carlo yells “Lossl!” who excitedly starts to gear up to play... until telling him Gordon Ramsey style to “**** off will ya!!”. Olsen then takes his place on the bench and gives it a big grin and thumbs up.

In the meantime, Pickford has recovered and wellies the ball out of play - directly at the camera

Fade to black

Agree mate but i think you get so far down the list it's best to just stop.

That, and why give Lossl around 50k a week and renew Virginia's deal the other week if they're deemed not even good enough to offer competition.

Everton WILL complete a deal for Robin Olsen before the 11pm transfer deadline Deal understood to initially be a one year loan. Blues turned to him because Manchester United saw them as a direct rival for top four place, and refused to do business over Romero

Is this Moushiri and Jim White for trying to be the last signing of the night lol ?

Has it occurred to anyone that 8-12m wouldn't have changed anything regarding Romero if United weren't selling him because they see us as a competitor? I mean what is that amount to United?

At the very least I think he's better than Lössl and hope that will make Pickford raise his game, as much as I am sick of his antics

Is that long passes or all passes?

Because it's boggle my mind if it's long passes. Just doesn't make sense - there was a very notable difference.
