I would prefer us to start him over Pickford moving forward.

Not as good of a shot stopper as Pickford, but has better command of the box, has better size, and takes up better positions.

Olsen will be beaten by excellent strikes that Pickford will occasionally save; however, the consistency, stability, and comfort he provides to the defense will save us points.

Certainly seemed to offer a confident presence and commanded the area as well as could be expected. Couple of really good saves and couldn’t do much about the goals. Just the shot across the bows Pickford needs.
Makes the (free) signing of Lossl look a bit odd though. He must be cack and should have been shifted out. Hopefully he was bought with view to making some money on a free agent.
