I tend to agree he was given a 4 year contract at the start of the season so the club must see something in him. I think Olsen is slightly ahead at the moment but he is on the decline and Virginia still at the point where he can improve. I would expect Virginia to be the better keeper in 2 years time. I think next season will be too early to be 2nd choice but I would be happy for him to be our EFL cup keeper next year.

I think we may find that Virginia is the better keeper already...if not then i dont think that time will be far away.

Olsen i think would be a poor permanent signing.

I agree here as well. He's made Pickford up his game but if we spend a little more we might actually be able to get someone who can go head to head with Pickford. Olsen is a good shot stopper but for a big goalkeeper he doesn't command his area from crosses very well. Hopefully at the end of season they shake his hand thank him for his efforts then send him back to Italy.

And ancelotti with the substitutions at the end...bring King in and replace either dcl or richy...surely with the space he is probably a better finisher than the other 2.
 
He's leaving at the end of the season what did Vagininia do wrong in the last game he panicked on there goal tbh and flapped with a punch when he should have caught it ...
He did make saves you expected him to save ..looked a bit rusty .....
 
Some of the comments on here are odd. Was pretty solid today I thought, I don't even think he was at fault for the goal, guaita came out to narrow the angle when our strikers got in and it worked, its not olsens fault that their striker could finish and ours can't. I wouldn't mind seeing him stay as a backup next season, possibly to a new number 1.
