Sadly his career was Evertoned by injury but he still speaks highly of his time at the club apparently.

I went to a friendly at Bellefield after he signed and he was stood watching near me. We were predictably dreadful but he seemed cheerful when I had a few words with him, he didn't boo or anything.

Also Rooney and his brother were there a few people down from us. We said hello and they were nice but as a teenager and being a couple years older than him it was like talking to a bigger boy at school. Imagine being at Everton youth with him and him saying he'd be waiting for you outside the gates.

Does make you wonder who is going to be moved on? Tarks will walk onto the team, im guessing Mins will be moved on because his injury record. I hope we’re looking at midfield next as our options there are even worse.

Selling Mina, is not going to be easy. His injury record, will put lots of teams off. Then his wages. Holgate to likes of Brighton, Brentford seems like the most likely. Godfrey might be wanted by more, but do we want to sell?

if we sign this lad i cant help but think it will be Mina AND Keane/Holgate who will be off. Lampard has switched between a 4-3-3 and 3-4-3 last season. 5 senior centre backs seems a bit much if he wants to play 4-3-3 a bit
