If thats happening in this case its by no means the first time, Leeds United did it for years with a fair few because of the ridiculous contracts they were on.

AHH yes, sure Robbie Fowler was still being paid by Leeds when he played for City. Sounds awfully familiar.
 

how gutted must Martinez be that Moyes flogged the crab ball playing waste of space.
Hed fit right in now with the lose at all costs mentality it has taken such little time to nurture and might be available for a very small sum. With so much dross running around in midfield and so many sicknotes on the books maybe after all this time a side built around Rodwell could be the one to send us down like a lead balloon.
