Poor Jack, he done that a few times for us, abit to casual, he still young, he like a wall, if u want the ball back, give it to jack, which he was more aggressive in his play and take the ball by the horns and run and take shots.

The thing that gets me is that Gibson could have done the job Rodwell did today, and he wouldn't have cost fifteen million pounds.

I thought that aswell, when Gibson signed for us last season it gave Fellaini licence to march forwards with the ball a bit more, funnily enough Rodwell's done the same thing for city with Toure making the forward play work.

Awful performance, refused to take charge of anything, three yard passes, horrible mistake for their second goal solely because he refuses to put his foot on the ball and take charge ever.

He is far too timid to play at this level and we've absolutely mugged City with his transfer. I appreciate him though for gaining us an easy £15m so good luck to him.

I think you're all being silly having a polarised opinion, one way or the other.

It's way too soon to say who's got the better end of the deal.

Surprised you've given up your seat on the fence chico, mate. This is one of the few occasions you'd be wise to sit on it -- lest you be vaulted.

Shows how confident I am lid. I can tell a player in the flesh without considering FM2012 stats. Rodwell isn't worth 15m at all.

Was a typical Rodwell performance really. For an hour he hadn't given the ball away, seemed to starting to play a more expansive game, and then played a horrible pass - still had an opportunity with a bit of aggression to make up for his mistake, but never took it and the opposition scored. After that he disappeared a little bit and went back to keeping it very simple.

It's all there for the lad, it's anyone's guess whether he will go on to take it though.

Thought he did well except for the awful mistake. He is much more mobile compared to Barry, and he seems pretty mature at recognising where the risk is and covering the danger. Strong player. His passing is roughly equal to Barry's. On the whole most City fans are pleased excepting the errant pass, many were worried the game would pass him by.

I'll be looking to see how he responds, that's the most important thing. He looks very nervous and ironically his worry over committing a mistake probably caused the mistake, hopefully that will pass in time.

Was going to say this earlier - and I dare say much lesser players than Gibson at that. Home games for City will be a walk in the park for him when he's surrounded by players like Toure, Silva and Nasri.

Did you notice how he spent half the game being marked by the opposition players and the referee mate?

To be honest I spent half the game agonising over Aguero and noticing much else. For myself, I'm going to give him a whole season before singing his praises or writing him off. Nasri was a total passenger for the first half of last season.

Some of our best players had absolute shockers today.
