You...kinda explain it all in your post. We won games because of Lukaku. We didn't finish 11th in spite of his performances, we finished 11th because of him. I have almost no doubt we'd have been in a serious relegation fight without him last season

Due to players not giving it all for the club, that's the difference between Martinez's first season and last season.


Martinez didn't control egos well, told lies and the was people like stones and Lukaku who wanted out, could of clearly affected the dressing room and caused conflict.

Always thought it was a team sport and that even the most talented individual in the world needs others around him to play their part - on and off the pitch.

Agreed mate - wouldn't argue with most of that - was just pointing out the fact that finishing 11th was not down to Lukaku, in fact without his goals last year it could have been a whole lot worse.

He has some way to go yet to be the player that he, his dad and his agent think he is, hence the reason no one was prepared to get anywhere near the valuation we set.

We pay Rom to score goals. Period. And when he scores his first this year, he'll score them in bunches.

I know you're going to continue with this regardless, but this is a ridiculous exaggeration as I'm sure you're aware and repeating it over and over again won't make it any more true, as much as some people seem to enjoy doing it.
