It's so good to see that these two are good friends (even from before Yannick joined EFC). It can only help their partnership upfront. With Kev or Del on the other side there will be some good crosses for Lukaku. he may never want to leave again.

I've watched the goal about 30 times and I think Lukaku just nicks it with the side of his foot. The spin of the ball changes ever so slightly in the time between where it hits his boot and when it bounces off the grass.

I think he touches it because he immediately acts as if it's his goal. If he hadn't touched it there would have been some doubt in his mind.

It is great to see the big fella back amongst the goals, even the dubious goals but what struck me most was the relationship between him and the other players. He looks very happy and comfortable now compared to last year. He did have a couple of sideways glances at Ross when he thought the ball should have been added to him.
