Lash him in the reserves until the end of the season and flog him abroad. Not even that bothered who takes his place until the end of the season. If he doesn't want to be here then we shouldn't have him in the team or training with the squad.

He's not under any obligations to sign a new contract. He's already been here longer than most thought he would be.

At the end of the day footballers have short careers and if he thinks it's time to move on then that's his decision. He's the league's top scorer but we're only the league's seventh best team. And it's not like he's a local, boyhood fan.

7th place pretty much nailed on..leave him on the bench for rest of season and use the youngsters that do see their future at Everton. We have to start planning life without him and this starts now...
