It may not be the end of the world. This could be our Gareth Bale moment in some respects. Spurs did spend some of that money poorly, but they grew their squad, and with a few key signings backed from their board they're now comfortably a top 4 team. There's potential for a positive outcome no matter what if we do it right. Everton and Spurs were on an equal footing up until that.
