Romelu Lukaku

I think he will leave now after what Bolasie had said.

Since this club was unable to attract big names last summer after 2 bottom half finish I was hoping Lukaku will give the club next season to see if we can achieve top 4. This doesn't look likely now.

It's down to the board and manager if he stays or not aswell as his ambition

This club: Lukaku knows that whether it's Kenwright or Moshiri, they are big on talk in the transfer market but dont pass muster when it matters and actually sign decent players up in enough volume to make the leap.

Basically the other day he called Everton's hierarchy out as BS merchants. And he was right. And we all knew he was right.

Next season is the run up to the World Cup, we'll keep him, he'll be majestically boss and help us qualify for the Champions League. The balance of his 'inevitable' departure will be tipping our way. He will stay.

It's hard to attract better players last summer with 2 bottom half finish in a row. Now 7th is likely and get your EL and he is leaving, what a shame.

It's got nothing to do with league finishes. Its 4 places at the end of the day.

What we can offer now is better wages which will attract players. I don't think anyone cares about playing Europa League football.

Actually you're right on this after what happened last summer. For me the signing of Schneiderlin changed a bit and I am hoping something might change in the summer. Maybe this is wishful thinking.

He will leave after next season IMO, hopefully after he steps his game up another level still for the remainder of this and next season. Then again I never thought he'd sign permanently and thought he'd have left each of the last two summer's so who knows ultimately
Maybe. I wouldn't be surprised either way.

If I was his agent I'd be pushing hard for a summer move away. His stock wont get higher than this and top clubs' are circling with huge wages. I dont see Lukaku having another season like this with us, tbh. And I think he's been very lucky with injuries.

It could well be the right time for Everton to sell, never mind Lukaku and his agent and other club's plans.

Still think Lukaku will stay for 1 year or more myself and im not changing unless he says it himself not what reports or what preople think hes said, but Bolasie saying what he has has made things even more in the open again, all this is he staying or not needs to be said one way or the other now for me if Lukaku as he says had his decision made, not leave it till the seasons end,its all becomming to much about him,and not about Everton for me,this could mess us up till the end of season or we could quite easily use it if we have a bad run as the excuse

I think being view as a top 6/7 PL team, best of the rest is much better than being see as a bottom half team.

But what you said about wages is correct. That's why Witsel and Oscar moved to a fourth tier league.

Bolasie has said nothing new.

Lukaku is ambitious and single minded. NSNO if you like.

I expect him to stay one more season on a far higher contract, but unless serious moves happen early in the summer he could agitate all the way to deadline day.

True but the board must show him the club can deliver by signing better players. The platform is here. If the team had a bit more consistency last Sept to Dec then Everton would be in top 4 now.

He'll demand the move in that case, and then it will happen. Everton can afford to turn down £70M nor can they have a disgruntled top striker on their hands.
If he slaps in a transfer request then that'll be that, it just depends on who shows definite interest and at what value.

it's not 100% certain for me that he'll leave this summer.

Its the same as when they say they want "Champion's League Football". They don't. They want Champions League money from a glamour club otherwise top players would be rocking up at Celtic and the likes.

It depends on individual. But if you throw £150k per week contract to a player normally he will stay.
