The problem with taking £70m and sorting the back 4 is who is going to score the goals that win games?
Nevermind that, people wanna spend actual money on that Michael Keane fella.

After watching yesterday and in many other big games, I actually think he holds us back his movement is poor and he's easily marked by better defenders. I think our overall game would improve with say a vardy type player. Barkley is more important for us as players like him are harder to find.Sell asap, he is becoming a self centred prima Donna who disappears in the big games. As good as he is against lower teams I'm not sure we can build a successful team around him.
Imagine his comments if we bought a second striker and he got dropped for a game
Sell in the summer.
Wish we had a Robbie Fowler...hate to say it....most natural goalscorer ive ever seen. He's a b+ striker, on a par with the Robbie fowlers, Michael Owens, mark vidukas etc.
Doesn't have enough to be in the top bracket imo. Which is why I can see him deciding to get behind moshiris project and signing the contract. I.e after no champions league side comes in for him.
pre injury when he had speed to burn like Owen was a really good striker, frightening to think what he could have been in regards to his scoring record.Wish we had a Robbie Fowler...hate to say it....most natural goalscorer ive ever seen.

Sniffing for opportunities along the back line took it's toll.Wish we had a Robbie Fowler...hate to say it....most natural goalscorer ive ever seen.
Obviously you can't argue with his goal scoring record, but as others have said in the games when we don't create chances for him he might just as well stay at home. You really want to see the two centre backs coming off the pitch bruised and beaten.but Rom is far to much of a gentle giant. And in the games were we are a goal down with a few minutes to go and we need to go route one to hope for a knock down from Rom...forget it.Yes he scores headed goals but only when nobody is within a yard of him.Great players have that bit of the devil in them. And I think that's what will always hold him back from realising his potential.
