We're 'billionaires' aren't we?

I'd make him stay for 12 months, and then if we don't achieve what we want to next season we sell him for around £30m.

Would losing £50m in a transfer fee be worth his guaranteed 25 goals? I'd say so.
I endorse all of this

And if he sulks, sub him after an hour at goodison so he can get a good booing to every other week ??

I'm in.

But we aren't in that group of billionaires.Very few get to that level of wealth by giving away 50 million.

This is exactly what I hope we do, even hang back till January, ok he will sulk but this is football and he has been doing that anyway!

He would be utter poison in the dressing room. With a very good nucleus of young talent in the squad you don't need sulky Bertie big balls disrupting it.

Football is a team game and Romelu loves Romelu and plays for Romelu. If he had the right attitude (like Kane) then yes. But he has spoken about leaving since his first press conference when he signed.

Finding a new front line will be tough but bar Calvert-lewin who could develop into a top striker, we have a full clean slate to put a coherent unit together.

I wonder about him wanting a Chelsea return so much. they love their snidy forwards and that's not Rom.

I think it's already a done deal with Chelsea over Rom. We have a couple of weeks to sort our deals out before it becomes public knowledge and selling clubs try and gouge us more than we would normally.

That's my hunch.

I always wonder if footballers read the reactions to their social media exploits. Posting something like that at this moment in time, to me looks a bit like wumming. He knows that a lot of reactions won't be positive.

I don't get what you mean?

Oh just browse the reactions mate. Loads of people being abusive (although some comments are very funny). If I were him I would just post nothing. Unless he's after the reactions, for a bit of a laugh or some other reason.
