Romelu Lukaku

My biggest disappontment with lukaku is that he is the player who made me realise how far we had actually fallen as a club.... not someone like Tony Thomas or mikel madar. We were crap and they knew we were crap but at least fans and players knew it and got on with it.

Lukaku? Ah well... some evertonians turned Into west ham fans didn't they? Got a bit giddy over a player like they did with that French mercenary. Difference is hevwas actually a talented footballer.... some of our fans excused this arrogant sod for going away on international futy and spewing nonsense about some tin pot club needing to sell him to a big club.... the same fans want him to do well... joke.

He walked round goodison in his last home game texting Chelsea players. Yet you get some fans saying he's our best striker in years.... he isnt. He scored goals as a finisher. - but as a footballer hes one of the worst ive seen

He was poor today, but was very good at the Emirates and slotted a very important goal in the week to get United top of their CL group. Obviously some Evertonians (as they did when he was here) will grasp on to any reason to have a go at him and milk it for everything it's worth and more, but his United side have improved markedly on last season with him leading the line all the way. They're 3 points ahead of 3rd and also through as group winners in the CL. They brought Ibrahimovic on today and it didn't make a blind bit of difference because City are the best team in the world.

The good thing for United is he won't fold under the inevitable ton of pressure that now gets piled onto his shoulders over the coming week. He was subject to laughable levels of criticism here and would always end up back in the goals soon enough.

What a day.
Was at the manc game today (mate gave me his season ticket) - was quite funny hearing the exact same shouts at Old Trafford as Goodison. - Utd fans properly fed up with Lukaku already and it's only been 3 months. Rage shouts of MOVE YOU LAZY [Poor language removed]! from minute one.

tbf he was absolute mince today, but he didn't get a cup of tea out of his own midfield. De Bruyne, Silva, Mane ran the show all game.

He already has mate, next 2 games are Bournmouth and West Brom, perfect for him to get the 4th and stand there with his arms open wide

It seems to really get under our more bitter fans' skin, that celebration. Here's to one or two of them over the coming games.

Makes me laugh, how yet again some are righting him off.

He`s having a barren patch, as all strikers inevitably do.

I`d have him back in a heart beat.

Look at the mess we got ourselves into once he`d gone.

Not saying I like his as a person, but the boy scores goals.
That's literally the problem with him though. Can score goals but his general play is pants. Once he hits the dry patch he's a waste of a player on the team sheet. He's a limited footballer and gets found out in the big games because of it. He will do well at utd and score goals but they will upgrade him within a few seasons imo because of his limitations.

You could be right, but if you are going to be arrogant you have to be able to back it up on the pitch, like Cantona did, but he cant, as we seen again today.
Main thing is for us we got a great deal on him, after how disrespectful he was to Everton, its no wonder Evertonians don't like him

He`s only passing through on his way somewhere else mate, same as with us.
