Understandable, they are use to seeing top players, not whoppers with big egos they have over paid for
The same as Lukaku. Sure, you'll get the odd ted who hates him for it, but it's not rocket science to understand him moving on.
I don't begrudge Lukaku moving to United at all; indeed, he'd have been mad not to. Massive pay day, making the most out of his limited ability to blag a huge contract.
With Barkley, the caveat is that in terms of his career I personally don't think it wise to move, as he's at the perfect club for his development over the next few years, which are at this point make or break for him. But that said he's not moving to a Newcastle or West Ham; if he has ambition, you want to test yourself at higher and higher levels, and I don't begrudge him that, especially after his treatment from Koeman.
He normally scores against Allardyce teams, so yeah, bare that in mind come January

Seriously though, the amount of money I could have won on him if I were a betting man...
He's the most predictable footballer I've ever seen. If Mourinho sees sense, he plays Lukaku against these fodder, where he can flat track bully opposition, and plays Ibrahimovic in the bigger games where a bit of class, balance and technical ability is required throughout the team.

Or if he real smart, he plays them together.
Was thinking that and have mentioned it before - Ibrahimovic deeper as the link player and Lukaku on the shoulder. Playing to both strengths.
But realistically I think if you play two up top against very good opposition then they break your midfield with the extra man.
I predicted that Lukaku would be kissing pine for Zlatan by Jan, the only reason he still gets games is the fee he cost.
