Romelu Lukaku

Always ups his game against teams in the bottom 3

What people will miss about that performance yesterday was that because it's rare his teammates aren't used to playing around a striker performing in that way.

That's why I've said all along that you can't win titles and you'll even struggle to win cups with Lukaku spearheading your line, because you simply don't know what Lukaku is going to turn up (if at all) from one week to the next. One week they're playing with a slightly upgraded Niasse, the next they're playing with a peak of his game Lewandowski; how do you set up for that as a team?

Is it me or am i wrong saying he looks to big physically this season.

He looks like he's put a lot of timber on or maybe it's the red shirt that makes him look overweight.

Just seen a list of Premier League leading scorers. Kane on 23. Salah and Aguero close behind. Lukaku on 12. Didn't realise he was so far behind. He had a great start didn't he.
Doing very well though I believe.
Anyway we have Niasse, DCL and er.....Tosun to share goals around the team, so you're not missed Rom.

Looks like he's suffering from big fish syndrome. Thought he was untouchable when he was here, the main man at Everton. Now it's bigger news if Pogba dabs than Lukaku.

Not many are.
He should be. Highest paid fee between two British clubs and he’s got an ego to match.

Goes missing when needed far too often. I used to think that he just couldn’t be arsed with us, but he’s at arguably the biggest club in the world and he’s still the same. Good player, but that’s a worry for United.

Any manager worth their salt knows his strengths and weaknesses, but he has all the tools, as you say his application leaves a lot to be desired.

You look at a player like Beckham and CR7, both players spent ages honing their craft, hard work pays off, but Lukaku doesnt have the desire to work, lazy innit, lazy mind.

Scored 7 in his first 7
3 in his next 11
2 in his last 9

So 7 in his first 7 games but only 5 in his last 20. Thats a poor return that imo and a good job he hit the ground running there.

I'm sure he'll get to 20+ all comps, win a trophy, qualify for CL and he'll say job well done which it will be.

He already has 18 in all comps, 4 in champs league and 2 in fa cup. So I imagine he will definitely score at least 2 more goals

I dont think thats a good return from him, 75m + Rooney they should of wanted more, if United get any sucess this season i would say its more because other players have stepped up
