I don't see what he's done wrong tbh. He's not lying, hence the gif (reaction after being booed). Shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone involved, he got booed from time to time. A bit ridiculous to say he feels the appreciation now, after one round of applause after a substitution. Even Martinez had to ask if a part of the audience (Standard and Club Brugge fans) would stop booing him so ... One of the reasons being he taunted them from time to time as an Anderlecht player and afterwards. Again he has a point; both are revolting sets of fans. I think he quite likes being booed, it's a bit inspirational for him.

Funny thing is he proberbly couldn't stand us from day one but because he scored a few goals , and mostly when it didn't matter, some still think he was once one of us.

He's done nothing wrong.

I was more making the point that a lot of our fans (myself included) were called out for saying he wasnt good enough or we expect better as he was scoring goals and thats all that matters to some. Well it looks like even though he's doing the same for Belgium and Man U, he's getting the same critisism.

It looks like he is always going to be marmite wherever he goes really.
