If you build a team around him (like we did) he’ll score a ton of goals.

But Utd. have a fair few top class players there, so he was never going to be the ‘main man’ by default.

He had to step up and take his opportunity, but he hasn’t done that.
He talks a big talk about wanting to be the best, but doesn’t seem to want to do the hard work to get there.

25 goals he scored that season, the minute he leaves our top goalscorer is 10. Before that the average was 10.

Moving to a club that literally has world class players playing poorly as a joint effort is down to the manager not the players. The minute Jose goes and they get Zidane in for example Lukaku will in my opinion, become a top class striker again. Once the team is playing for him, he will score for fun. In fact the minute he goes united become title challengers over night. Probably not this season now but next season certainly.

He had 5 clear chances in that semi final plus a penalty and blew it. Never mind all the other poor sods who got berated by him cos they couldn't override his inability to control a football and had to give it to him in the box for him to score.

You reckon zidane would get the best out of him? Zidane would get rid of him. A footballing genius managing a player who can shin it further than he could kick it.

What did Lukaku's 25 goals get us??? Nothing. Without his goals the difference they made to our overall standing was nothing..... lukaku in the side = no shared goals. Look at United- he was dropped the 4 previous ganes and they scored 7 goals.... no blanks. They start lukaku and don't score.

He's garbage and you've been conned mate.
 
He'll be sound once United sort themselves out (sack Mourinho) or finds another club. There are plenty of great footballers in that squad performing absolutely horrifically.

And that right there is why I would not welcome him back.

Yes he was a good goalscorer but he did go massively missing in a lot of the bigger games.

The above comment is why he is not a great striker, Man Utd should never be a team that revolves around one player. You look at all the great sides and they have ALL players playing for each other not 10 players playing so 1 can get a few goals.

He needs the team to carry him, a great striker, a 75m player can grind out a result when the rest of the team are falling short.

His goal at Man City was amazing, in the game when Stek made the saves, that player would be awesome, but it was a rare moment for him

Replace Walcott with a quality right hand sided player like Malcolm or Lozano and we would have a top 6 side providing we got Rom on a diet.

He was at one.... his incompetence on the pitch is one of the reasons they aren't top 6 any more.

Here's some simple facts.... when you have £90m to spend on a striker that sort of striker should be a Suarez, Van Persie, Rooney level. Because that level of striker scores you goals from nothing.... they don't moan about service.

When a team like United loses a Rooney or Van persie and replaces them with lukaku it's just the same as replacing Vidic with Smalling or replacing Scholes with herrera.... lukakus signing is the final nail in the waste of money cyclevunited have been on for the last 5 years.

There is dislike and a there is hatred that goes deeper that what you are letting on too, speak to someone mate it will help.
