No, but being 6ft+ he maybe didnt have to learn stuff that the smaller young players he played with had to learn to survive in a tough game at the top top level.
Ive seen this in NZ Rugby, 16y.o. Jonah Lomus running riot at school / youth level...until they get in to the big leagues where being able to think and think quick is as, or more, important as being quick and big

I played amateur level and had a game against 2 lads in midfield one was 6ft 7 the other was taller.... I won more headers than they did. Because they had always been so tall they didn't have to work on their leap or timing. They stood under the ball and gave me a target to leap against.
I was one of the smallest in my year and went to a pretty rough school. By the time I was 20 I was 5ft 11 and was shifting heavy weights. Being a skinny little kid helped me learn how to maximise everything that i had. So by the time the playing field was more even I had an advantage. You learn how to set yourself better in shoulder challenges, and how to time the aggression, to use the ground....
